How Our Fees Work
One Rate for Everyone
Our hourly rate is $193.99, the rate the NDIS sets for speech pathology, and it applies to every family whether you are private, self-managed or plan-managed. We confirm the cost of anything before we do it.
No Referral Needed
You don't need a GP referral to see us. Simply reach out, and we'll arrange an initial consultation at a time that works for you.
Easy Payment
We send an invoice after each session, with payment due within 7 days by bank transfer or PayID. Fees and payment terms are agreed before we start, so there are no surprises.
Our Services & Pricing
Initial Assessment: $291 to $388
Usually 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on how complex the picture is and how much support your child needs to take part. That time covers the session with your child, a written summary of results and recommendations, and contact with their kindy or school. A full assessment report, if one is needed, is quoted separately. We talk through goals together and agree a plan.
Therapy Sessions: $97 to $193.99
Sessions are usually 30, 45 or 60 minutes ($97, $145.49 or $193.99), depending on your child's age, attention and goals. Short, regular sessions often work better than long ones for young children, and we will suggest a length once we know your child.
Reports & Documentation
Full assessment reports and progress reports for schools, paediatricians or the NDIS are charged at the hourly rate for the time they take to write, and quoted before we start. A written summary is already part of every initial assessment.
Travel, Meetings & Coaching
Travel to your home is charged at $97 per hour of travel time, capped at 30 minutes each way. Email and phone contact with teachers and other professionals is included in the assessment. Longer meetings and parent coaching sessions are charged at the hourly rate.
These are our current fees. The hourly rate follows the NDIS pricing schedule and changes each July when that does. If anything here is unclear, ask and we will explain it before you commit to anything.

Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly with us without a GP referral or any other paperwork. Just get in touch and we'll take it from there.
How much does it cost?

An initial assessment takes 1.5 to 2 hours ($291 to $388) and includes a written summary of results and recommendations and contact with your child's kindy or school. A full assessment report is quoted separately. Travel is charged at $97 per hour of travel time, capped at 30 minutes each way.
What's the cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel, as much notice as possible is appreciated. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or when nobody is home for a scheduled visit, may be charged at half the session fee, plus any travel already made.
Can I claim through Medicare, NDIS, or private health?
We are not an NDIS-registered provider, so NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed can use our services and we invoice at the NDIS rate; agency-managed participants cannot. We are not Medicare registered, so Medicare rebates do not apply, and we do not process private health fund claims.
